My name is Amy and I am the new kid on the block at EWI works. Believe it or not, it wasn’t the comfy chair or adjustable workstations that led me to this job as marketing manager. It was the people and the innovation they show in the ergonomics industry.
Like in the Olympics, everyone wants to be a part of a winning team. Linda Miller, CEO of EWI Works, is the head coach of that winning team. She was recently highlighted in an article from Alberta Women Entrepreneurs talking about investing in innovation and encouraging growth to international markets. I knew that I wanted to be a part of that.
As for the team, they train together, take risks, and support each other. Just like Olympians, each team member has special talents. But their goal is the same, to give gold-winning performances.
Just like an athlete breaking Olympic records, EWI works is not satisfied with doing the same thing they did 25 years ago. New research has led to new ideas. Technology has changed things too. I love that EWI works has created an app, and it’s free! No other ergonomics companies are doing this.
Lastly, you can’t forget about your audience. EWI works always has their client in mind. That’s everything from supporting health and safety staff to providing online resources so everyone can have access to information.
I am excited to be a part of this innovative company and I can’t wait to see what we come up with next.
